For the Greenberg on Art Criticism: An Interview by T. J.
Clark they talked about being receptive and that you should put your personal
preference aside and that art can come from anywhere.
For the Jackson Pollock film they talked about Jackson
Pollock and his two works, Study in Lavender Mist and Autumn Rhythm. They
talked about how his works had a negative reference on modern art.
2. Do the videos relate to the creation of your Art
Criticism project? If yes, explain how. If no, explain why not.
Yes because you really have to look at the works of art and
put your personal preferences aside and really look at the work.
3. What is your opinion of the films? Do they add depth to
understanding of art criticism?
The films were good especially the Jackson Pollock film. It was
good to see different perspective of two people on the art works. It made it
more interesting.
